Our local partner

In close collaboration with the Mulala Marine Sanctuary, we are working hand in hand to preserve one of the ocean’s most vital ecosystems, a unique Marine Protected Area (MPA) nestled in the heart of Nacala Bay.
This sanctuary is more than just a protected space: it is a testament to the importance of local action and collective management. Entirely dedicated to ocean preservation, this marine area is a protected place for coral reefs and increasingly threatened marine species.
The reefs along Mozambique’s coast are crucially important, not only for the marine biodiversity that thrives in this underwater world, but also for the local communities who depend on them daily. These ecosystems provide natural barriers against coastal erosion and violent storms and provide vital food resources.
By supporting and restoring these reefs, we are helping to protect nature and people, and building a future where conservation and community go hand in hand.
