Adopt a coral and together we can build reefs that are home to 25% of marine biodiversity.
All coral fragments adopted in 2025 will be planted at our new restoration area in Mozambique, within a Marine Protected Area.

Participate in the restoration of an entire marine ecosystem

Adopting a reef has a strong and concrete impact to more quickly rebuild an ecosystem that is home to 25% of marine biodiversity.
The reefs (composed of 40 coral fragments) are planted at our new restoration site in Mozambique in a Marine Protected Area.

Coral reefs are the richest ecosystems, home to 25% of marine biodiversity, but they are among the most affected by climate change and human pressures.

If nothing is done, they risk disappearing by 2050 (source: IPCC).

How does adoption work?

Your adoption allows us to remove a fragment of coral from our already restored reefs and place it in one of our nurseries, or to create a new reef that will be placed in a degraded area to revitalize the marine ecosystem.

After three years, the planted corals are capable of reproducing.

Who is The Coral Planters?

The Coral Planters is a French non-profit organization founded in 2017 and recognized as being of public interest. We work daily to preserve the ocean and its marine ecosystems through coral reef restoration, the creation of Marine Protected Areas, and public awareness.

By adopting a coral, you support our mission to protect marine ecosystems essential to life on Earth.

Together, let’s plant the corals of tomorrow!
