Who we are

Founded in 2017 and recognized as being of public interest, The Coral Planters is a French non-profit association dedicated to the protection and restoration of coral reefs.

Our work is based on three pillars:

  • Participatory restoration: implementing marine conservation programs with committed local partners.
  • Awareness and education: educating and mobilizing local and international communities about coral reefs and the threats they face.
  • Applied science: developing restoration protocols and contributing to scientific knowledge, directly aligned with the needs of field partners.

The Reef Partner Program

Through the Reef Partner Program, The Coral Planters builds strong alliances with local organizations that wish to develop coral reef conservation projects.
Our vision: growing together by combining expertise, experience, networks, and resources.

Since 2017, we have collaborated with several field partners and offer personalized and long-term support, including:

  • Technical and scientific support: sharing expertise, monitoring protocols, and educational tools.
  • Financial support: co-designing models adapted to local needs (fundraising, sponsorship, coral adoption programs, grants).
  • Communication & awareness: promoting the project to the general public and donors, creating content, and running outreach campaigns.
