Mozambique Volunteer Program

Committing to ocean protection.

Join us to restore the coral reefs of Nacala Bay, Mozambique.

Volunteer program in coral preservation and restoration

Our volunteer program is organized by our field partner in Mozambique: Mulala Marine Sanctuary

During your stay, you will actively contribute to the conservation of corals, fish and other marine species by participating in reef restoration and the development of healthy coral populations.

You will learn coral planting techniques, reef monitoring and study, and the identification of fish and coral species, while working alongside their formidable team of employees and volunteers from around the world.

Support coastal and community projects

Even without being familiar with the ocean, you can make a concrete contribution to our work. Help the Mulala Marine Sanctuary create content for social media and take part in our community projects: gardening, building coral planting structures, maintaining our mangrove nursery, or running the small educational center on site.

There’s something for everyone and for all types of people!
