Newsletter #10 — WE ARE ALL CORAL PLANTERS!

Welcome to our Coral Logbook – Issue #10 / February 2026

2026 starts strong. Very strong.

This year will be like no other for The Coral Planters. After 8 years of restoration, awareness-raising, and commitment, we’re reaching a historic milestone: 3 new restoration zones are opening up.

Three new continents. Three ecosystems. An amplified mission.

But before diving into what lies ahead, let’s look back at what happened since our last coral logbook. Because 2025 ended beautifully. And because you are the actors behind it.

Thank you for following and supporting this adventure with us for another year 💙

Happy reading!

Together, let’s make the Ocean’s voice heard! 🪸

Top Story: 2026, the Year of Expansion

3 new zones. 3 new oceans. 1 amplified mission.

After 8 years restoring reefs in the Maldives (2017), Rodrigues Island (2021), and Mozambique (2025), The Coral Planters is reaching a historic milestone in 2026.

We are opening 3 new restoration zones.

At this stage, we’re still hesitating whether to reveal the locations now or keep the mystery intact.

You decide! Click on your preference:

Your vote counts. Results and what comes next in our next newsletter! 🪸

Why these zones?

These three new regions have been selected for their ecological importance, their critical degradation level, and the presence of local communities ready to engage with us.

With these openings, we’re going from 7 to 10 active projects. From 3 to 6 countries.

Our capacity for action is expanding. So is our impact.

But this expansion won’t happen without you. Behind every new reef planted, there are donors, sponsors, partners, and a community that believes in this mission.

Now is the time to join us. Now is the time to act.

Closing 2025: Your Corals Make the Difference

What happened since our last coral logbook?

The end of the year was exceptional.

In 2025, we had our highest number of adoptions since the association was created.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Thank you for choosing to offer such a symbolic and concrete gift to your loved ones (or yourself) for the holiday season. By gifting a coral, you actively participate in reef restoration and the preservation of marine biodiversity, an ecosystem essential for our survival.

And now?

All these adopted corals will be planted in our new restoration zones.

Each fragment will find its place on our structures. Each coral will become a refuge for hundreds of marine species.

Your Christmas gift becomes a living ecosystem.

New Faces for New Ambitions

The end of 2025 was also marked by the arrival of new team members.

After Justine in September, Baptiste, Laure, and Agathe joined us respectively as volunteer and civic service members.

The partnership and communication teams at The Coral Planters are now complete to give new visibility momentum to our mission and actions worldwide.

With these reinforcements, we’re ready to take on 2026’s challenges: new zones, new projects, new partnerships.

The team is growing. So is the impact.

2026: Our Goals for This Decisive Year

This year won’t be a year like any other.

Here’s what we’re aiming for in 2026:

  • Open 3 new restoration zones
  • Train our local marine partners to sustain our actions
  • Raise awareness among children and adults through our Edu’Coral program
  • Structure our corporate partnerships to finance long-term restoration
  • Produce our first documentary about our field projects

2026 is the year The Coral Planters scales up.

And you are at the heart of this momentum.

Edu'Coral: Help Us Raise Awareness Among Children

Restoring reefs is essential. But educating the next generation is vital.

Since its creation, our Edu’Coral program has already raised awareness among over 2,000 children in southwestern France. Interventions in schools and middle schools to explain why corals are essential, how they’re disappearing, and what everyone can do to protect them.

Our ambition for 2026: reach all children in France and beyond.

To achieve this, we need professional educational materials, teacher training, and resources to deploy Edu’Coral throughout France.

That’s why we’re launching an Edu’Coral crowdfunding campaign.
